On-Site Content Captures: optimized storytelling.

On-site content captures orchestrated by the social media team offer a distinctive vantage point with socially optimized assets. By crafting content specifically for this purpose, as opposed to repurposing content intended for alternative channels, social media marketers can effectively communicate their brand narrative in a more captivating and personalized manner.

A critical part of the social strategy at Travel + Leisure Co. are on-site content captures. Over the course of my tenure, I successfully executed 6 of these captures, spanning diverse locations from California to New York. This endeavor resulted in the acquisition of a substantial number of assets meticulously optimized for social media deployment, while remaining versatile enough to be effectively utilized across various channels. While on-site with the brand Extra Holidays, we establish ourselves as travel experts and are uploading stories in real-time showcasing the destination, the resort booked with Extra Holidays, and vacation tips. This campaign, known in 2022 as a “#TravelTakeover” and re-branded in 2023 as “#InsiderTrip” was nominated for finalist for 2023 ARDA Award in the Social Media Campaign category.
